Rejoice
and shine..
2014 what a year of blessings it has been
for me. By Gods grace I took some steps of faith and when I look back I can say without him and his love over me, I would
have not been able to come this far in my life. He has blessed me for which I
am so thankful.
I want to
thank all my
friends who have always been there for me when I am down in
spirit, when I am so discouraged by circumstances,
situation, lack of finances. But my
friends(I don’t want to write your name but you
know who I am writing about ) have encouraged
me and shared examples to encourage me
and do the things that God has put on my heart… thank you Jesus for lovely friends and prayer partners.
So here we are in the first month of 2015.We
have started this ‘Rejoice and Shine’ tuition centre for the kids from the
local slum area in Selequi. We have around
30 kids ( class 3 to 8 ) who are coming with their home work and little kids
will be taught a self made curriculum ( basic
Hindi alphabets ,words, numbers ,tables and life skills). I have taken this
step of faith where the community is happy to have
a centre where they can send their kids for tuition, from 3 to 5.30.
I am praying that God will bring in some
financial help for me to meet the needs of the centre.
For this Tuition centre I have some
requirements like black board, markers, books, colors ,pencils, rubbers,
sharpners etc .
What I am planning to do is provide all the
students with a folder and keep their
work safe so we can monitor their progress.
If possible I would like to have rooms away
from the slum but the rent is so high so I am managing with two small rooms in the slum.
Here we need furniture so they can write
and do the work properly.
We are asking kids to come neat and clean.
If we provide basic skills it will help
students to get into a better school later. Those who show promise are
encouraged to come along regularly.

Salvation home near Bhauwala dehradun which is around 8 km away from my home.
At the moment I have more time to utilize
in other community help. So I have taken on board to go and teach some lessons
at Salvation Home.
There I am helping girls with their home
work daily and take devotion on two days.
I am looking to see where I am led and hope
with your prayers and guidance, God’s love, I will travel another exciting and
no doubt challenging year.
